03/12/2012 on Green Island, at Jahra Pool Reserve and at Doha Spit
I visited with a British group Green Island this morning. When it was difficult to see a Hypocolius last winter now it was really easy. We had already seen 10+ at Jahra farms and this morning on Green Island 25+. Photographing is not so easy though. On Green Island we observed also Red-vented Bulbuls and a male Ruppel’s Weaver. At Jahra Pool Reserve we had two Citrine Wagtails. At Doha Spit our main target was Asian Desert Warbler which we saw eventually.

Daurian Shrike (Lanius isabellinus) Intereslingly this individual kept fishing.
