October Big Day today, so I went counting the waders at Sulaibikhat Bay. I started at 11:30 and finished at 5:00. It was lovely counting birds after long hot summer; today, the weather was more excellent than the previous days, so I forgot the heat and concentrated on the birds. At my fifth vantage point, I was lucky enough to find a Red Knot. I will be the 8th record if accepted by KORC.
