Together Mike Chalmers and I went birding at various places in Kuwait. (numbers has not been counted but they are the least estimate).

At Souq Sharq: Armenian Gull 2 (we manged to identify two; one adult and one in juvenile plumage), Heuglin’s Gull 5, Steppe Gull 20.

At Kuwait University: Pied Wheatear 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Daurian Shrike 2, Common  Redstart 1.

At Sulaibikhat bay: Desert Warbler 1, Pied Wheatear 6, Armenian Gull 10, Heuglin’s Gull 15, Steppe Gull 20, Gull-billed Tern 2, Caspian Tern 5, Kentish Plover 10, Lesser Sand Plover 3, Greater Flamingo 200, Indian Reef Egret 5, Grey Heron 5.

At Pivot Fields: Steppe Buzzard 6, Steppe Eagle 1, Eastern Imperial Eagle 1, Greater Spotted Eagle 3, Short-toed Snake Eagle 1, Wood Pigeon 2, Pallid Harrier 3, Bonelli’s Eagle 1, Black Kite 41, Grey Heron 1, European Bee-eater 30, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater 30, Pied Wheatear 20, Daurian Shrike 6, Spotted Flycatcher 2.

At Jahra Farms: Common Chiffchaff 1, Willow Warbler 1, Blackcap 3, Spotted Flycatcher 2, Daurian Shrike 2, White-throated Kingfisher 1, Collared Dove 5, Laughing Dove 5, Common Myna 6, Bank Myna 3.

At Jahra Pool Reserve: Ferruginous Duck 1 (adult male; 8th record if accepted by KORC), Northern Shoveler 6, Eurasian Teal 1, Garganey 5, Northern Pintail 1, Black-winged Stilt 4, White-winged Tern 1, Little Crake 3.
