25/01/2011 at Abraq Al Habari, the 3rd record of Hume’s Leaf Warbler

The Hume’s Leaf Warbler was found by Pierre-Andre CROCHET and his colleague last Week. This would be the 3rd record if accepted by KORC, the second was in December 2008 by K.De Rouck, D.Collin, J.Celis.

This morning I went to Al-Abraq to hear the bird disyllablic distinctive call. Later with luck I managed to photograph it.

At Al-Abraq: Hume’s Leaf Warbler 1, European Stonechat 4, Eurasian Blackbird 3.

At Jahra Farms: Bank Myna 20, Black-throated Thrush 1, Song Thrush 4, White-throated Kingfisher 2.

At JAhra Pool Reserve: European Stonechat 2, Water Pipit 4, White Wagtail 3.
