28/10/2016 At Green Island
This morning I went to Green Island at 8 am, I was told by the people at the gate that the opening hour is 9 am, drove around up to Shuwaikh looking for Bank Myna but I only saw Common Mynas up to 25. At 9 entered the gate and the first encounter was with the Hypocolius! 5 were around feeding and flying over. A couple of minutes later I saw a stunning male Ruppells’s Weaver. My last target was the Red-vented Bulbul which was seen after an hour search. I found 3 or probably 4 in the usual spot that I usually find skulking in Conocarpus trees.
