I managed to relocate Yellow-browed Warbler again with Brian. As usual it was found by its distinctive call that differs clearly from Hume’s Leaf Warbler. It was interesting to learn about a race mandelli but it has nothing to do with our bird. We are 100% sure about Yellow-browed Warbler ID. Actually the first good bird this morning was Redwing which is not easy in Kuwait at all. The bird was first for Brian and just second for me in Kuwait. We checked carefully very late Red-breasted Flycatcher hoping to find Taiga Flycatcher but in vain. Other nice birds were Stonechats and a male Black Redstart. All in all, I would say, this was enjoyable birdwatching morning over there.
