A brief trip to Kebd yielded the usual early migrants, including many shrikes (Southern Grey, Isabelline and Woodchat), as well as the residents Dunn’s Lark and Black-crowned Sparrow-lark. A rather tame male Blue Rock Thrush was hunting for insects near our farm buildings, though mainly staying the the shade. However, it did oblige briefly and posed in the sun. Three Eastern Orphean Warblers were seen in a group of trees.
