I went alone before work to Pivot Fields. Highlight was a group of 6 Oriental Skylarks. Their call is so distinctive. They are also much less shy birds compared to Skylarks. Without these features it would be almost mission impossible to find them from the big flocks of Skylarks. Other birds recorded were: Cattle Egret 12, Pygmy Cormorant 1, Green Sandpiper 2, Northern Lapwing 25, Skylark 1500+, Crested Lark 6, Quail 1, Indian Roller 1, Wood Pigeon 5, Collared Dove 2000+, Namaqua Dove 2, Sparrowhawk 1, Long-legged Buzzard 2, Greater Spoted Eagle 1, Eastern Imperial Eagle 2, Kestrel 2, Starling 50, Water Pipit 75, White Wagtail 20, Isabelline Wheatear 2, Isabelline Shrike 1.
