Today at Abraq Al-Habari, Omar and I observed a flycatcher that I initially assumed to be a Semicollared Flycatcher, but I didn’t give it much attention. Omar pointed out the prominent white on the wing, to which I responded that it must be a Semicollared. However, later I met Aurélien Audevard, who showed me a photo he had taken of the same bird — and it turned out to be a European Pied Flycatcher.
It is a first for Kuwait! Two records in UAE, first on 14/05/2003 and the second on 6/05/2019. One record in Oman on 21/04/2004.
